Since Robin has joined, and her ancestors built Tracey's Corner, I though I would let everyone know who is now outside of the area that ol' Tracey's Corner has gotten a face lift! They added on to the original building a bit, restored the brick, added some garage bays and I believe it is going to be another automotive shop. It looks really nice and I will take a pic of it within the next few days.
So what WAS Tracey's Corner originally?

| Tracey's Corner was originally undeveloped land my greatgrand parents Charles and Etta Key Boyer Tracey owned all four corners at the intersection. I think about 1912, they built a home and moved their family from Charmain to Blue Ridge Summit. My ggrand father's business located on the corner was a garage, gas station and car dealership. His Pontiac dealership was one of first in the United States. |
